100 Meters in 13.32 seconds is the new team record…Good Job Bjartur
“You need 10.000 hours of practice to achieve mastery in a field.”
This record will be challenging to beat. It takes extreme physical and mental powers to be able to take part in a 24 hour scooting record, and beat the current one that stands at 553.72 km.
Before jumping on our new bought scooters, we did some calculations.
We are no mathematicians so it took us a while to figure this out. (we cant be good at everything, right?!)
Anyway, this is our conclusion:
Here is our Logo…but lets rewind and give you an insight into how we arrived here.
So, after the record attempt was approved we needed to get a proper logo.
We wanted to combine both the scooting, as well as the name of the team.
We had a few words that we started playing around with: Scooting / Record / Team / Iceland / 24 ..
Scootteam24 was our first combination. Scoot- Team and 24 – referring to the hours of the record as well as the number of team members.
After applying for the record on September 30, 2016 (see below) We finally got the application approved on March 23rd. (If anyone is wondering, you are right, it took them 6 months!) Thank GOD our lives did not depend on getting an answer because we would have died. Anyway…
